Not sure where to volunteer? You’re in the right place here at the Seniors in Service web page! Step into the Best years of your life!
Our mission is to provide solutions to community challenges by engaging volunteers aged 55+. We help at-risk children, isolated seniors, adults with disabilities, overwhelmed caregivers, struggling veterans, hungry families and more. Plus our volunteers benefit from staying active and purposeful. Seniors in Service has several programs.
The list of programs below briefly describes the difference you could make. The Blue, Bold, and Underlined project name below are all links to more information.
- Help isolated seniors remain living independently, with dignity, through home visits or telephone reassurance.
Programs: TelePals or Senior Companion Program or Health Buddies
- Show veterans and military families they are not forgotten.
Program: Volunteer for Veterans
- Teach a child to read. Help them learn to LOVE reading.
Programs: Readers in Motion or Foster Grandparents Program
