The next generation of Classroom Grandparents is getting ready to make a lasting impact in local schools. As Seniors in Service prepares for the 2025–2026 school year, new volunteers are stepping into training to become mentors, encouragers, and trusted supporters for students across Tampa Bay. Through guidance, connection, and compassionate support, Classroom Grandparents help children build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and feel valued every day they walk into the classroom.
We’re gearing up for the 2025-2026 school year by training 175 new Classroom Grandparents this summer to be ready on day one! Will you be one of them?
