Help Seniors Age With Dignity

Senior Companion Program

Become a Senior Companion Volunteer

The Senior Companion Program connects compassionate volunteers aged 55+ with older adults who need friendship, encouragement, and support to live independently. As a Senior Companion volunteer, you’ll provide consistent visits, meaningful conversations, and a trusted presence that helps seniors stay safe, healthy, and connected in their own homes. With every smile and shared story, you’ll make someone’s day a little brighter — and your own life more fulfilling.

Bring Joy and Independence to Seniors

Loneliness and isolation can have serious effects on a senior’s health and happiness. The Senior Companion Program helps bridge that gap by building trusted relationships that reduce anxiety, promote independence, and bring joy to both seniors and volunteers. It’s more than a visit — it’s a lifeline that reminds our aging neighbors they’re seen, valued, and never alone.

The Impact of Connection

A Senior Companion volunteers poses with a program member in her home during a visit.

Raquel, daughter of client Cristina, shared how volunteer Delia has become an essential part of their family through regular visits for over a year. “Delia isn’t just a volunteer; she’s like another daughter to my mom,” Raquel said. Delia’s deep understanding of Cristina’s needs has helped spot health issues early, often before the family notices. “She offers not just help, but emotional support and a listening ear. We know we can count on her like family.” Raquel expressed heartfelt gratitude, calling Delia a lifeline who has made an incredible difference in their lives.
