We’ve Got a Seat at the Table for Seniors in St. Pete!
Seniors in Service is proud to announce that Health Buddies Program Manager Aria Garling has been appointed to the St. Petersburg Commission on Aging. In this role, she will help advocate for older adults and support efforts that promote positive aging experiences throughout the community.
Since 1973, the St. Petersburg Commission on Aging has worked to ensure older adults have access to the services, resources, and advocacy they need to live safe, independent, and dignified lives. We're excited to share that Health Buddies Program Manager Aria Garling has been appointed by the Mayor to serve on this important commission.
Aria's new role means she'll be a vital voice, helping identify the needs of seniors and their families, advocating for solutions, and collaborating with local providers to promote positive aging experiences.
This is a big win for Seniors in Service and the seniors we serve. With Aria at the table, our organization has a direct connection to city leadership, helping ensure the voices of older adults in our community are heard loud and clear.
