At Seniors in Service, setting goals and resolutions is not just a beginning of the year tradition. In fact, our team sets intentional SMART goals to help us stay focused EVERY SINGLE WEEK. We meet each Monday and share our goals as a team to be brave, hold ourselves accountable, and see how we can support one another. On Friday, we celebrate the goals we accomplished!
This year our theme is: “Discover Purpose. End Loneliness”. We know we have the solution to the loneliness epidemic. We see it every day.
It’s putting yourself in service to someone else that gives life meaning. We just need to reach more people with this extraordinary medicine.
As we enter our 40th year, I recognize that we are so blessed with grant funding that sustains us. But we need more – more people, more funding, more reach. Please think of who you know who might be attracted to this mission, who might resonate with our grand vision to “Discover Purpose. End Loneliness.” We need board members to help us craft the strategic vision and we need passionate donors who can help us push forward.
We can make Tampa Bay a place where no one is lonely and there’s no problem – no matter how big – that doesn’t have a group of passionate volunteers raising their hands to say, “I can help!” and through that service find purpose and meaning for their own life. Please join us in 2024 in whatever way feels right for you!
