Students who don’t read on grade level by 3rd grade are at a much higher risk of dropping out of school. More than 50% of Tampa Bay 3rd graders are testing below grade level. Early literacy-focused tutoring is vital for lifelong success!
Do you have a heart for service and want a little extra money? Classroom Grandparents can receive payment for volunteering 5-40 hours per week at schools in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.
Join our team of over 200 volunteers who are dedicated to encouraging young students to love reading and learning. We will provide ongoing training and support so you can feel confident and prepared to help the students who need you.
