Finding a volunteer opportunity that fits your schedule, interests, and skills may feel overwhelming. That’s why we partnered with local nonprofits to create Volunteer Rush and take the guesswork out of volunteering. Volunteer Rush is a matchmaking event that brings together people looking for ways to serve and local nonprofits in need of volunteers.
In collaboration with Gulfport Multipurpose Senior Center, we hosted our 1st Volunteer Rush. Every Tuesday in February over 30 seniors joined a two-hour session to listen to local nonprofit leaders share their mission.
With our many community partners sharing their biggest volunteer needs, there was an opportunity for everyone to find their passion and sign up to start serving. We’re thrilled to see people in our community engaged and working together to find ways to flex their kindness muscles.
