A joyful breakfast celebrating the valuable work of all our volunteers will be held. The event will feature keynote speaker Hillsborough County Schools Superintendent Jeff Eakins. A Foster Grandparent volunteer promises not to leave a dry eye as she tells a story about a child she worked with who couldn’t sit in a chair, raise his hand or read until they met. Our Senior Companion volunteer will dazzle when she shares a story about clients who remained isolated in their apartment before she arrived in their lives. Finally, our RSVP volunteer will describe how even one hour can make a positive impact. Our volunteers truly Bridge Generations!
