The Shirley Proctor Puller Foundation is committed to recapturing their legacy of literacy, achievement, and success. They are committed to ensuring students are achieving their academic potential, and will work with an ecosystem of students, parents, community leaders, partners and peer organizations to deliver this outcome!

Volunteers assist with the M.A.S.T.R. Kids Programs – Math, Art, Science, Technology & Reading which nurtures curiosity and a love of learning with Literacy and STEAM curriculum that develops both sides of the brain.

We will also have many community visitors share skills and stories with us throughout the year. Qualifying students spend one-on-one time with an experienced Reading Specialist and volunteers to focus on developing core skills needed.

Our M.A.S.T.R. Kids Program uses different art forms to reinforce literacy and math skills. As an example, sculpture is a wonderful way to hone fine motor skills and think about how the piece will communicate what you see or feel.
