Location: Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services – 3550 West Waters Ave, Tampa, FL 33614
Purpose of the Position: Provide academic and social/emotional support to lives of teen mothers and their children.
Responsibilities and Duties: Build respect, self-esteem, and confidence. Mentorship duties. Be a good listener, encouraging and supportive. Be patient, flexible, and respectful of individual differences
Qualifications:
- Be at least 55 years old
- Must have a driver license
- Be willing to adhere to all program policies, including a level II background check and drug test.
Commitment Expected: 2-5 hours per month with mentee.
Training: Orientation required, and quarterly meetings offered
