2017 MLK Day of Service Senior Companionship Celebration at Aqua Apartments

In honor of the inspiration provided by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr,’s legacy of service, our friends at Aqua Apartments are hosting a celebration. This 2017 MLK Day of Service event will honor residents who provide companionship to their fellow apartment residents all year long. Their kindness keeps their fellow residents connected to the community. These older residents from Aqua Apartments in Tampa, FL have been assisting their neighbors with companionship services in their own community out of the kindness of their hearts. On Friday, January 13, 2016, they will be recognized for their consistent and committed legacy of public service as well as enjoying games, like Bingo, with their neighbors together to celebrate Martin Luther King’s Day. They have made service part of their lives and address a cause that is meaningful to them and their community.
